Tammy Kessler and Jo Ruiz
The only two people who will ever clean your house
I'm Tammy Kessler. Jo Ruiz and I clean houses in Haysville and the south edge of Wichita, priced by how many bedrooms you have, so you'll know the number before we see your kitchen. Three bedrooms, every other week, is $160. That's the whole quote.
Your shower drain is slow. We didn't snake it, just telling you.
Jo got the back bedroom baseboards like you asked.
See you on the 23rd. T & J
No. Count your bedrooms and find your house below. A messier house pays the same as the neighbor's. Each price covers one bathroom per bedroom, and each extra bath is $20.
“why is the first one more??” It's the visit where we find out what's behind the fridge. From the second clean on, you pay the every-other-week price.
“we have 5 bedrooms, can you still do it” Call me. I'll tell you on that same call whether it fits in a day, and if it doesn't, I'll say so.
Extras on any visit: inside the oven $35, inside the fridge $30, a load of sheets changed and remade $15.
We start where the grease is and work toward the front door, so nobody walks on a floor that's done. Here's what gets cleaned on every visit.
Counters cleared and wiped, cabinet fronts, the stovetop and the knobs, the microwave inside and out, the sink scrubbed and the faucet shined, the floor mopped by hand.
Tub, shower walls and glass, toilet including the base and the bolts, the sink and the mirror, the floor. We bring our own brushes and they never leave the bathroom bucket.
Dust every flat surface you've cleared, the blinds, the ceiling fan, the window sills. Beds made if the clean sheets are on the bed.
Dust, the inside glass of the front windows and the patio door, every floor vacuumed or mopped. Baseboards on a rotation: one room each visit, all of them every eight weeks.
“After a year I know which stair squeaks and which cabinet you keep the good bowls in. A new crew every visit learns your house on your dime.”
Jo Ruiz, the other half of Brightpane. I've watched her go back in, coat already on, for one streak on a microwave door.
Owner. Does the kitchens and the bathrooms, answers the phone, keeps the list. Cleaned houses for a franchise for six years before starting this in 2019.
Bedrooms, living areas, floors, baseboards. Has worked with me since the first month. If one of us is sick, we move your day. Nobody fills in.
Send me your lease's move-out sheet, or a photo of it, before we come. We clean to your landlord's list line by line, and I text you a photo of each line as it's finished.
If the landlord holds back deposit for something on that list, we come back within a week and redo it free. It's happened twice, both times blinds.
Move-outs are Fridays only, so they never bump a regular. In May and July, book two weeks ahead: everyone in Haysville moves at the end of those months.
| Oven inside, racks, drip pans | Racks soaked in the tub while we did the rest | Done 9:40 |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge inside, shelves out | Unplugged, wiped, door propped open to dry | Done 10:05 |
| Cabinets and drawers inside | Crumbs out of every drawer track | Done 10:50 |
| Blinds, every slat | Lease says every slat, so every slat | Done 11:35 |
| Nail holes | Not cleaning. We note them so you're not surprised. | Noted: 7 |
| Carpets | Vacuumed. Shampooing is a separate company. | Done 1:10 |
You can. I don't answer during a clean, so anything people used to leave on my voicemail, you can do here at any hour. Weeknights 6 to 8, I call back.
We start every morning from my garage on the west side of Haysville. There's no storefront or office to drop by, so call, text or book online.
We're closed the week of Thanksgiving and the week after Christmas. Your clean moves to the week before.
