  • Spring and fall mulch refresh, up to 6 cubic yards
  • Hand-weeding of beds twice a month
  • Irrigation start-up in April and blow-out in the fall
  • Spring and fall cleanups, leaves hauled away

To book irrigation

Spring start-up from April 1: $95. Includes a zone check and head adjustment.

Fall winterization October 15 to November 20, booked by route: $85 for up to 6 zones, $8 each extra zone. If a hard freeze is forecast, plan customers are blown out first.

If it rains on your day

We do not mow wet turf. It tears, and the tear shows for two weeks. Your visit moves to the next dry day that week. If the whole week washes out, you are not billed.

Choose a plan, a project, or both

Our own crews do every job. Nothing is subcontracted. The crew that mows your lawn in July built the patio in April.

Maintenance plans

Weekly mowing April to October, beds, irrigation and two cleanups, on one written plan. Priced per visit by lot size. Billed monthly. No contract. To stop, give 14 days' notice.

Compare one yard, April to October

Most new yards start with patchy turf, beds with no edge and a shrub line nobody has shaped in years. This front yard in Maize is drawn twice: at the April walk, and again in October.

If you need to change something

Find your situation. Do the step beside it.

To stop your maintenance plan

Give the office 14 days' notice. Plans run month to month, with no contract to sign. Design-build projects do have a contract, with a fixed price and the warranty terms.

If rain falls on your mow day

Do nothing. The visit moves to the next dry day that week. If the whole week washes out, it isn't billed.

To have clippings bagged

Ask the office. Bagging is $10 a visit. Otherwise we mulch clippings back into the lawn, which feeds it. We always bag the first cut of spring.

To winterize your sprinklers

Book a blow-out between October 15 and November 20. We book them by route. $85 for up to 6 zones, $8 each extra zone. If a hard freeze is forecast, plan customers go first.

To add fertilizer and weed control

Add the five-round program, March to October. Each round is $58 to $92 by lot size. We apply it under our state pesticide licence. It's optional on every plan.

Route crews and leads

Three routes. A two-person crew runs each one. These three people lead the work.

Marcus Hale

Owner, runs quotes and design

Fourteen seasons in Sedgwick County yards, started with one mower and a pickup in 2012.

Kansas commercial pesticide applicator, category 3A turf and ornamental

Rosa Delgado

Crew lead, irrigation and beds

Runs every spring start-up and fall blow-out on our routes. Knows most controllers by sound.

Certified backflow prevention assembly tester, 9 years with Greenline

Tyler Nguyen

Crew lead, hardscape

Builds the patios and walls and drew these plans. Starts every patio with the base, since a weak base is what makes one settle.

Check the drive time to your town

Crews leave the Maize yard at 7 and work outward. Find your town in the list. In the first two weeks of May, routes run late.

After hours

If a storm damages a plan property, text (316) 555-0135. A limb across the drive counts. So does a broken sprinkler head flooding the yard. Texts are answered until 8pm, and a crew is out first thing. For anything else, leave a message. We call back by 9am.

To visit the office

Drive to 4218 N Amidon Rd, Maize. Go to the green door at the front of the equipment yard. Park along the fence, not in the gate. Trucks leave at 7.
