One truck, from scan to approval

Steps. Scan, then a walk-around. The technician photographs anything worn, leaking or out of spec and marks each line OK, watch or flag, the same way the scan tool does.

Expected. A photo report by text, priced line by line. Approve all of it, pick lines, or decline and pay only for the diagnostic.

Actual. Same as expected. We checked twice, which is the point.

OK
Measured and fine. Listed at $0, so you can see we checked it.
WATCH
Wearing but safe. Priced now, and you decide when.
FLAG
Unsafe or likely to strand you. We recommend fixing it this visit.
Arrives
Within two hours of drop-off, and by 11:00 am for anything dropped before 8:00 am.
Contents
6 to 20 photos, a short video of noises or leaks, measurements, and the price for each line.
Approval
No work starts until you tap Approve. If we find more once it is apart, we stop and text again.
Records
Every report stays in your service history, so the next owner or your fleet manager can see it.

Entrances
Trucks use the west drive, marked by the tall amber post, with a wide swing both ways off US-54. Cars use the east drive and the eight spaces by the office door.
Tractor-trailer turnaround
Gravel loop behind the building, 140 ft across. Pull through, never back onto the highway.
Doors
Heavy bays 7 and 8 are 14 ft tall and 16 ft wide, on the west end.
Key-drop box
Steel box on the wall left of the office door, lit and on camera all night.

After-hours key drop

  1. Park in the key-drop spaces by the east wall, under the light.
  2. Take an envelope from the box, and write your name, cell number, vehicle and what it is doing.
  3. Put the key inside, seal it and push it through the slot.
  4. We empty the box at 7:00 am and text you by 8:00 am to say the truck is checked in.

Shuttle and loaners

Free shuttle anywhere in Augusta and to El Dorado, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. Ask when you book.

Two loaner pickups for repairs that run past one day, $35 a day, free on fleet accounts. Book one with the bay; they go fast in harvest.

Need picking up? Text the shop line 15 minutes before and the shuttle comes to you.

Waiting room

Wi-Fi, coffee, a desk with outlets and a window onto the bays. Oil changes and DOT inspections are done while you wait, usually inside an hour.

The screen by the counter shows the bay board, so you can see where your truck is in the queue.

Restroom is accessible, and the lot is level from the car spaces to the door.

Frequently reported

What does a diagnostic cost, and does it count toward the repair?

$149 for cars and gas pickups. $169 for diesel pickups. $189 for Class 6 to 8. Covers the scan and the first hour of testing. Approve the repair within 30 days and the full amount comes off.

Same-day return?

Drop off by 9:00 am and most diagnostics, brakes, oil changes and DOT inspections go home the same day. Engine and transmission work depends on parts. The estimate gives a day, and we text if it moves.

Will you install parts I bought myself?

Yes, at the normal labour rate. Labour warranty: 90 days. The part is between you and the seller. If it fails, reinstalling it is billed again. We have seen this one before.

Does using you void my factory warranty?

No. Federal law lets you have maintenance done anywhere. Parts and fluids meet the maker's spec, and every visit is logged in your service history. That log is what a warranty claim asks for.

Do you do DOT inspections for one truck, not a fleet?

Yes. $95 a truck, $65 a trailer, usually while you wait. If something fails, we quote the fix before touching it. Re-inspection within 15 days is free.
