I’m Rosa Treviño. Sixth Hour Tattoo is three artists upstairs on East Douglas in Wichita, custom work by appointment. And every Friday the flash goes up on the wall for whoever comes through the door. Why the name? Sixth hour of a long sitting. Everybody wants to quit. Piece gets finished anyway.

Marked designs get tattooed once and come off the wall. Eight more are on the sheet at the shop.
A waitlist for a year? A deposit on a date you will forget? A booking app with forty settings? Nobody asked for this. Custom work books one quarter at a time, four days a year, so your piece gets drawn properly before you sit. When the book is full, it is full.
Booking day: the form goes live at 9 amBooked solidFlash Friday runs every week, all year
October’s book opened Thursday at 9. Full by lunch on Friday. Missed it? Put your name on the January list. The text goes out the minute the form goes live, same minute for everybody on it.
Can’t wait? Here is what you do instead. Come in on a Friday. Jace draws that flash the same week, and it is real work, priced on the sheet.
What the consult is for. Fifteen minutes, here or on a video call. You tell me what it means to you, where it goes and how big your nerve is. I tell you what will still read in twenty years. Nobody draws anything until there’s a deposit.
Each of us books our own chair. Don’t know which? Tell me what you want. I send you to the right person, even when it isn’t me.

American traditional, flash
Runs Flash Friday and draws the sheet every week. Bold lines, four colours, built to look right from across a parking lot.
Illustrative colour, cover-ups
Covers the tattoo you regret with one you won’t. Bring a photo of the old one in daylight, not a filter.
What does a photo of your forearm from the couch tell me? Size? Skin? Placement? Nothing. So no quotes over Instagram. Here are the real numbers. Your consult turns them into one.

Cash or card at the counter, settled at the end of each session. Tipping is up to you. Nobody here keeps score.
Can I answer a phone mid-line? With gloves on? With somebody’s ribs under my wrist? No. So the site has four pages. A form, a deposit, a line, a text. Each does one thing. That is the whole system.
Who you want
References, up to three
Consult requests with placement, size and reference photos, sent to the right artist instead of a shared inbox.
The $100 comes off your last session. Move once with 48 hours’ notice and it moves with you.
Deposits taken online with the rules written next to the button, so nobody is surprised at the counter.
A text-me-when-it’s-my-turn line for Flash Friday, so the waiting room isn’t twenty people deep.
Day 3. It’s going to look shiny and a bit cloudy. That’s normal. Thin layer of unscented lotion, twice a day, clean hands.Fri 10:02 am
it’s itchy, can i scratch itFri 10:09 am
No. Slap it gently if you have to. Send us a photo in daylight if anything looks red past the edges.Fri 10:11 am
Day 7 check-in comes Tuesday. Touch-ups are free until Jan 7.Fri 10:11 am
Aftercare by text, timed to the day you’re on, with a way to send a photo when something looks wrong.
Tattoo is half mine, half yours. My half takes an afternoon. Yours takes a month, and yours decides how it looks at your wedding.
Four hours under the film we put on. Then wash with warm water and unscented soap, pat dry with paper towel.
Unscented, a thin layer. Your cousin’s coconut oil stays in the kitchen.
Flakes of colour come off. That’s dead skin, not your tattoo. Don’t pick and don’t scratch.
No swimming, no tanning bed, no lake. Loose sleeves outside. Kansas sun fades red first.
Daylight, no filter. If a line healed thin we bring you back free within 90 days.
Will a parent’s signature do? Is a neck a good first spot? Will two beers calm your nerves? No, no and no. Most of these protect you. One or two protect us.
