Retail and boutique website design in Wichita that sells online and brings people through the door.
Shoppers check whether a store has the thing before they drive over. A retail site should show what is on the shelf, let people buy it or hold it for pickup, and keep your online and in-store stock telling the same story.
The short answer
A boutique or specialty retail website in Wichita should show real products with prices and stock, offer buy online and pick up in store, and draw from the Square or Shopify inventory you already keep, so nothing is counted twice. Point It Here builds the site for $499 plus $49 a month, or $1,449 once. A large shipping store with many variants is quoted before you sign.
How shoppers decide to come in
A shopper looking for a gift, a particular candle line or a dress for Saturday usually searches before driving. Google now shows prices and "in stock nearby" for stores that send it product data, so the shop that has done that appears with the item, and the shop that has not appears as a name and a star rating.
Your regulars follow new arrivals on Instagram, then want to know if their size is still there. Visitors want hours, parking, and a sense of what kind of store you are. Around the holidays and Small Business Saturday, the questions multiply: gift cards, gift wrap, local delivery, extended hours.
Store options, from a showcase to a full shop
| Option | Suits | How it is priced |
|---|---|---|
| Showcase with new arrivals and a "hold it for me" request | One-of-a-kind and fast-turning stock, where listing every item is not worth it | Inside the $499 build |
| Buy online, pick up in store, from your Square or Shopify catalogue | Most boutiques and gift shops | Inside the $499 build as its one backend system; your POS plan and card fees are separate |
| Full shipping store: hundreds of products, sizes and colors, returns, shipping rates | Stores that sell as much online as in the shop | Quoted before you sign |
| Keep your Shopify store and have us build the site around it | Shops already happy selling on Shopify | The standard build, linking to your store |
Whichever you pick, you own the domain and the site, and your product data stays in the POS you already pay for. See what the build covers on pricing.
Inventory and Google product listings
Count once, at the register.
If the website keeps its own stock count, it will be wrong by Friday. The site reads from the inventory in Square or Shopify, so a sale at the counter takes the item off the site too, and a sold-out size says so.
Google Merchant Center lists products for free on Search and the Shopping tab, and can show local stock for nearby shoppers. Square and Shopify can each send your catalogue there. We set that connection up, and mark each product page with its price and availability in the format Google reads, so your products can appear when someone searches for them by name.
What else a shop site needs
- Hours, holiday hours and events, edited from your phone
- New arrivals you post in a minute, with photos
- The brands you carry, named, because people search for brands
- Gift cards, gift wrap and local delivery, if you offer them
- A returns and exchanges policy in plain words
- Trunk shows, sip-and-shops and classes, with a way to RSVP
- Where to park, and which door to use
Bringing customers back, and what it costs

| Get Found on Google | Weekly posts of new stock, holiday hours kept right, reviews answered | $99 a month |
| AI Front Desk | Answers "do you ship", "do you have it in a medium", "what is your return policy" while you are with a customer | $299 setup, then $99 a month |

Questions owners ask us
Do I need an online store, or just a website?
If most of your sales are one-of-a-kind pieces that sell fast, a showcase with new arrivals and a hold request may be all you need. If shoppers regularly ask whether you have something, buy online and pick up in store earns its place. Full shipping makes sense when you are ready to pack orders every day.
Will my online stock match what's in the store?
Yes, when the site reads from the inventory in your Square or Shopify account. A sale at the counter takes the item off the site, so you never count twice.
Can customers buy online and pick up in store?
Yes. They pay online, you get the order in your POS, and they collect it at the counter. It is the most common setup we build for boutiques.
How do I get my products into Google search results?
Connect your catalogue to Google Merchant Center, which lists products for free and can show local stock to nearby shoppers. Square and Shopify can both send products there, and we set that up with your site.
Should I just use Shopify?
If you already sell well on Shopify, keep it, and we can build the site around your store. If you mostly sell in person, a site that reads from your Square catalogue is usually simpler and cheaper to run.
How much does a boutique website cost in Wichita?
Ours is $499 to build and $49 a month for hosting and care, or $1,449 once, including pickup-in-store ordering from your catalogue. A large shipping store is quoted before you sign. See affordable web design in Wichita.
