Website design for Midwest businesses that want the site to pay for itself.

Building for businesses in Andover, Wichita, Kansas City, Omaha, Derby, Topeka, Des Moines, Newton, St. Louis, Lawrence, Lincoln, El Dorado, Overland Park, Hutchinson, Springfield, Salina, Manhattan, Augusta, Maize, Goddard, Haysville, and Park City, across the Midwest.

We're from Andover, Kansas, and we build for businesses across the Midwest. Your site is drawn for your business alone, it shows up on Google and in AI answers, and before we build it we work out with you how many new customers it needs to bring in to cover its cost.

Four things most Midwest business websites don't do

Every site we build does all four. You can check each one on the sites in our work.

1

Show up when someone nearby searches

Set up so Google understands what you sell and where, and so an AI asked for a recommendation can read your hours, your prices, and your address. Most sites in town are invisible to both.

2

Load in under a second on a phone

Most of your customers find you on a phone, often on a weak signal. A slow site reads as a closed business. Ours are held to a speed limit, and a change that breaks it doesn't ship.

3

Give the visitor one clear thing to do

Call, book, order, get directions. One tap, on every page. Someone who arrives ready to buy gets a path, not a hunt.

4

Tell you what it brought in

Every call, form, and booking is counted from launch, with where each one came from. You see whether the site is earning, not just whether it's up.

What do you want more of?

Pick the one that sounds most like you. You'll see what's usually wrong, what we do about it, why it works, and what we count so you can see it working.

What's usually wrong. People who are already looking for what you sell can't find you, or they find you and nothing tells them what to do next.

What we doWhy it worksWhat we count
A site with one clear action on every page: call, book, order, directionsSomeone who arrives ready to buy gets a one-tap path instead of a huntCalls, forms, and bookings from the site
Set up so Google understands what you sell and whereYou show up for "near me" searches from people who don't know your nameHow often you appear in search, and clicks
Your Google map listing completed and kept activeThe map is where most local decisions get made, and a complete listing gets shown moreMap views, direction requests, calls from the listing
The same hours and phone number everywhere: Google, Apple, Yelp, FacebookMismatches push you down the map, and wrong hours lose walk-insCalls from each source
A review link, and a card for the counterFresh reviews move you up the map and settle the decisionReview count, and how recent they are
Every call, form, and booking tracked from launchYou see which channel actually brought each customerCustomers the site brought in, each month

How we measure it. We record what your current site brings in before launch, then count tracked calls, forms, and bookings every month, with where each one came from.

What to buy. The website care plan. Add Google management if the map is your main channel, which it is for restaurants, trades, salons, and clinics. Website, $500 then $50 a month.

How it works, in four steps

You see your own site working, and your apps if you want them, before you decide to finish it.

1

Reach out

Four short fields, or a text. We reply within one business day with questions, or with a fixed price if we already have what we need.

2

Sign, and commission it for $200

You sign a contract and pay a $200 commissioning fee, credited to your total. Then we get to know your business the way friends do, because that's the only way we can build what you actually picture.

3

See it first

A working demo of your own site on your own phone, and the iOS and Android app screens if apps are in your contract. If it isn't right, we change it. Then you decide: pay the rest and launch, or stop there with only the $200 spent.

4

Launch, and keep it earning

We launch it, connect your Google listing, and count what it brings in. On a care plan we keep it fast, secure, and current, and you edit hours, prices, and specials yourself.

WordPress, or a custom build?

An even-handed answer. WordPress is the right choice for some businesses, and we'll tell you if you're one of them.

WordPress with a themeA custom build from us
Looks likeThe theme, with your logo and colors dropped in. Thousands of sites share it.Your business and nobody else's.
Speed on a phoneDepends on the theme and every plugin added since. Usually two to five seconds.Under a second, and held there.
Keeping it runningUpdates to WordPress, the theme, and each plugin, and things break when they disagree. Somebody has to own that.Nothing to patch. We watch it, and the care plan covers it.
Editing it yourselfYes, through the WordPress editor.Yes, through a simple screen for hours, prices, specials, and photos.
Counting what it brings inPossible with plugins and setup.Built in from launch: calls, forms, bookings, and where each came from.
Who owns itYou, as long as you keep hosting and the theme license.You. Code, design, content, and the domain, from day one.
CostOften cheaper to start, more over five years once hosting, plugins, and fixes are counted.Fixed prices, listed on the pricing page.

WordPress is the right answer when

  • You publish a lot of articles and want the familiar editor
  • You already have a WordPress site that works and someone who maintains it
  • You need a specific plugin ecosystem, like a membership platform

A custom build earns its cost when

  • You want the site to look like your business, not like a theme
  • You want it fast on a phone and kept that way without a maintenance chore
  • You want to know, in numbers, what the site brought in
  • You'd rather own the whole thing than rent pieces of it

What a website should cost

Less than the business it brings. Two numbers you already know, and we'll tell you how many new customers the site has to bring in before it has paid for itself.

In dollars. If a typical job or sale is $400, put 400.
In dollars. Our sites start at $500 with a care plan, or $1,500 with no monthly fee. All prices.

?new customers to pay for the site

Fill in the two numbers and this updates as you type.

This is arithmetic, not a promise. We can't guarantee how many customers a site brings, and anyone who does is guessing. What we do promise is to count them, so you'll know.

What Midwest business owners ask us

How much does a website cost?

Ours start at $500. Care is $50 a month, cancel anytime, or $500 a year on a three-year contract, with the price reviewed at renewal. Or pay $1,500 once for the site and a year of hosting, with no ongoing care. Whichever you choose, you sign a contract and pay a $200 commissioning fee, credited to your total, and you get a working demo of your own site before you decide to pay the rest. Everything is on the pricing page, with nothing hidden.

Do you build iOS and Android apps?

Yes. We build iOS and Android apps for businesses, on their own or with your website: ordering, booking, and loyalty for customers, or an app your staff run the day on. Apps start at $200 each, and the iPhone and Android versions of the same app count as one app, with care at $15 a month per app, or $150 a year on a three-year contract. A website and apps package starts the same way as a website: a signed contract and a $200 commissioning fee, and you see the demo of the site and the app screens before you decide. Apps on their own, and larger builds, get a demo price quoted for your project.

Will my site show up when someone asks ChatGPT or Google for a recommendation?

That's what it's built for. Your hours, prices, address, and services are written so both search engines and AI assistants can read them, and your Google listing is set up to match. We can't control what any one answer says, but we make sure yours is there to be found.

Do you use WordPress or a template?

No. Every site is drawn for one business. If WordPress is genuinely the better fit for you, we'll say so, and the comparison above is meant to help you decide honestly.

What if I already have a website?

Bring it. We'll tell you what it does today, what it brings in, and whether it's worth improving or replacing. Sometimes the honest answer is that it's fine.

Who owns the website when it's finished?

You do. The code, the design, the content, and the domain. If you ever leave, you take all of it, with a plain-language guide to running it.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. Hours, prices, specials, photos, and staff are yours to change from a simple screen, on your phone if you like. Anything bigger, we do for you on the care plan.

Do you work with businesses outside the Midwest?

Yes. We're from Andover, Kansas, and most of our clients are in the Midwest, but our team has built for clients on three continents. Distance changes nothing about how we work.

How long does it take?

A working demo within about two weeks of getting started, and launch two to four weeks after you approve it, depending on how quickly we get your photos and words.

Let's look at what your site does today.

Tell us about your business in four short fields. A person replies within one business day.
