A studio that can't show its clients, given a face of its own.
Revlun designs the wellness layer of hospitality from back of house: treatment menus, therapist protocols, guest journeys and the spa spaces they run in. Access is by referral, and the studio doesn't publish its clients. It needed a site that felt like the work without showing any of it.

The brief
A referral-only studio can't lean on client logos, project photography or a contact form. The site still had to read as calm, exact and considered to the hotel operators who commission this kind of work, explain a four-phase process from first walkthrough to opening, and bring the right enquiries to the studio's door without opening the door to everyone.
What made it hard
- No client names and no project photography to build a visual identity on.
- No public contact channel, by design, but a steady need for qualified enquiries.
- Rich, painterly imagery that still had to load fast and pass a strict security policy.
What we built for them
An identity drawn in code
Instead of stock photography, we wrote two illustration generators that draw the site's botanical studies and full-bleed landscapes: leaves, seeds, steam, ripples, and scenes of hills, mist, water, palms and a pavilion, all softly lit and painterly. Because the artwork is generated, it can be extended for a new page in minutes, and it belongs to Revlun outright.
A referral queue instead of a contact form
Revlun doesn't publish an email address. So we built a small piece of software: an interest queue that takes each enquiry with its reason, stores it privately, and gives the studio a sign-in dashboard to move each one from new to shortlisted, contacted or declined, with an export to a spreadsheet. Property enquiries and press requests arrive tagged and can be answered on different schedules.
Found by the operators who hire it
Every page carries structured data describing the studio, its services and its process, and the questions hotel operators actually ask are answered in full on the programmes, spaces and process pages, so search engines and AI assistants can quote them. A summary for language models and open access for AI crawlers mean the studio is described accurately when an operator asks who designs spa programmes in Colombo.
Accessible, and private by default
Checked with zero accessibility violations across every page, then verified by hand: every color pair, keyboard walkthroughs, small screens, reduced motion. Fonts are self-hosted and nothing non-essential loads until a visitor chooses, which is what a discreet studio's visitors expect.
Looked after since launch
After launch we made the landscape artwork about 28 percent smaller as served, with a pixel-by-pixel check confirming nothing visible changed. The mobile page fell from 401KB to 323KB and the largest element now appears in 2.3 seconds instead of 2.7. That's the care plan working: the site keeps getting faster without the studio lifting a finger.
